6/22/2020 · Can I clean the Surface Laptop ? Last year, I was using my Surface Laptop 2 to watch some Plex while cooking a particularly bubbly curry. It was too close to the pan, and some korma sauce managed to make horrible little yellow dots on the Alcantara keyboard. I made the mistake of trying to clean this and… well, it made things worse. Yuck.

9/7/2018 · I’ve got the Surface Laptop, so if the Alcantara gets too dirty it isn’t as simple as just spending out £200 on a replacement keyboard. The Microsoft site says about using warm water and a lint-free cloth, or a screen wipe to clean the surface of the keyboard.
5/23/2012 · I’ve had this Surface Laptop since September. I’m surprised the material (where I rest my palms) is getting stained. My hands are always clean , however I never thought to clean the fabric regularly. I owned the Surface Pro 3 before, and the type cover never gave me that issue. I’ve had that thing for over 2 years and it’s still holding up.
