The Minilogue XD punches way above it’s weight in terms of how it sounds vs how much it costs, for an analogue synth. I had not actually planned on buying one, having recently sold a Pro 2, Prophet 6 and Juno 106 (slimming down quite drastically), but there was a used one available at a great price, so I.
I bought ableton along with a push 2 several years ago. I think the push 2 is a great piece of equipment and is an awesome controller for ableton . However, for me producing tracks is still mostly done with a mouse in the program and performance is done with a midi keyboard (studiologic sl73). If I could go back in time I would pick the minilogue .
